Dear all,

            Yikes…one more week of school…where did the time go??? I can’t believe that our time is almost over. For some of you, it will be the last time I will teach someone from your family. ☹ It has been a pleasure to be a part of your family. Thank you for sharing your child with me this year; it has been an amazing 9 months. 😊

            Your MAP test results will be sent home with your child’s report card on Thursday.

            On Monday, we will welcome back some of our seniors to congratulate them on a successful high school career. It will be nice to see some of my former students.

            Book It picnic is on Monday. We will leave school at 11:15 and return at 1:30 your child may be out of uniform and will need a packed lunch. I will supply the drinks and cold dessert. Thanks!!!

            Tuesday is Field Day. I hope to see some of you there. Your child will need to pack their own lunch and drinks will be provided. They can also bring a towel or blanket to sit on while they eat lunch. I will have small water bottles for the kids.

            Wednesday, May 22^nd is our Pen Pal Picnic. So far, I do not have anyone volunteer to help with our outing. We will be walking to Marcum Park, eat our lunch, and the kids can play kickball, soccer, or whiffle ball. Please email me to let me know if you are available.  

             Last week I sent home math summer work for those students that will not receive a summer book from Ms. Graf or Ms. Shepherd. Also, feel free to take home any Second Grade AR books from our classroom for your child to read over the summer. It is very important to keep up reading and math over the summer to maintain all their hard work over the school year. You can return the books in August at our supply drop off night.

            Thanks again for ALL your kind words, help, and support over this year. I’m truly blessed and overjoyed to be a part of your family.

Estimados,

Ay ... una semana más de escuela ... ¿a dónde fue el tiempo? No puedo creer que nuestro tiempo casi haya terminado. Para algunos de ustedes, será la última vez que le enseñaré a alguien de su familia. ☹ Ha sido un placer ser parte de tu familia. Gracias por compartir a su hijo conmigo este año; Han sido 9 meses increíbles. 😊

Los resultados de su prueba MAP se enviarán a casa con la boleta de calificaciones de su hijo el jueves.

El lunes, daremos la bienvenida a algunos de nuestros estudiantes del último año para felicitarlos por una carrera exitosa en la escuela secundaria. Será agradable ver a algunos de mis antiguos alumnos.

El picnic Book It es el lunes. Saldremos de la escuela a las 11:15 y regresaremos a la 1:30. Es posible que su hijo no tenga uniforme y necesite un almuerzo para llevar. Yo te proporcionaré las bebidas y el postre frío. ¡¡¡Gracias!!!

El martes es el día de campo. Espero ver a algunos de vosotros allí. Su hijo deberá preparar su propio almuerzo y se le proporcionarán bebidas. También pueden traer una toalla o manta para sentarse mientras almuerzan. Tendré pequeñas botellas de agua para los niños.

El miércoles 22 de mayo es nuestro picnic con amigos por correspondencia. Hasta ahora, no tengo a nadie voluntario para ayudar con nuestra salida. Caminaremos hasta Marcum Park, almorzaremos y los niños podrán jugar kickball, fútbol o whiffle ball. Por favor envíeme un correo electrónico para informarme si está disponible.

La semana pasada envié a casa trabajo de verano de matemáticas para aquellos estudiantes que no recibirán un libro de verano de la Sra. Graf o la Sra. Shepherd. Además, siéntase libre de llevarse a casa cualquier libro AR de segundo grado de nuestro salón de clases para que su hijo los lea durante el verano. Es muy importante continuar con la lectura y las matemáticas durante el verano para mantener todo su arduo trabajo durante el año escolar. Puede devolver los libros en agosto en nuestra noche de entrega de suministros.

Gracias de nuevo por TODAS sus amables palabras, ayuda y apoyo durante este año. Estoy realmente bendecido y feliz de ser parte de su familia.
