⛱️SJCS Vacation Request Form
If students are going to be missing school for a vacation (more than 2 days) parents must complete a Vacation Form for approval before the planned vacation occurs. Please complete one form per student. This must be completed at least one week in advance.

💳Lunch Payments
We will be using FACTs for hot lunch/milk. It will still be a prepaid account. You can log into your account and on the right side there is a box that says “Prepay Accounts” Click on the “Add Funds” button to load money to your child's lunch account. You can do this at any time. If your balance drops below $10.00 you will get an email reminder from FACTS to add more funds. If the amount owed gets below $20 we will automatically bill you to get your account current. Any questions please contact Paula Waggoner at [email protected].

📓MAP Testing Results
This week parents will be receiving results from our Fall MAP Testing. These tests are used to help evaluate student progress and guide teacher instruction. They are administered 3 times each year. Students have completed the fall assessments and will take them again in the winter (after Christmas Break) and in the Spring. These results will be reviewed with parents at fall conferences. If parents have questions please contact the classroom teacher or Ms. Conrad at [email protected]
✝️SOC Meeting SOC will be holding a meeting on September 25th from 2:30-3:30. Please fill out the form that was emailed to you no later than September 23rd in order to participate in this meeting. Thanks!
📸Picture Day
School picture day is Friday 9/27/24. Students are permitted to be out of uniform but must wear appropriate clothing. Picture packets including payment on picture day must have exact payment. You can also order your kids pictures online ahead of time from www.mylifetouch.com. Parents can enter their package information, pay with a credit card, rather than the filled out money envelope. This option will offer families more choices with packages and credit card payment.

📋First PTO Meeting is Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. There will be a Zoom Option.
👪Room Parents
We are looking for volunteers to become Room Parents for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Room Parent, you will be able to meet your child’s classmates, experience your child’s interactions with their teachers and peers and most of all, see the pride in your child’s face when you are there to share special times with their class. Room Parents help to plan and execute class parties, work to coordinate teacher gifts from the class and coordinate communication between the teacher and parents. We are looking for at least 1 room parent for each grade, Preschool - 8th, but also understand in our busy world that it may be easier for some classes to have more than 1 to share the work.
